The challenge

Cale Group is an Argentine holding company with businesses in road infrastructure, energy, services, workwear, health and agribusiness.

A holding company has the opposite problem of a single brand: it is not about standing out, it is about six very different businesses reading as one company without any of them losing its own voice.

And there was nothing holding them together.

  • No shared identity: each unit communicated on its own terms.
  • No corporate home: nowhere that showed the group as a whole.
  • Audiences with nothing in common: a road contractor and a health provider do not read the same way.

Without a concept that holds, a group site is just six brochures stacked together.

The solution

We built a brand concept broad enough to hold six industries and specific enough to mean something, and turned it into a corporate site organized by business unit.

The identity

  • Logo system, color palette, typography and graphic language for the group.
  • Style guide with rules for how each unit applies the system without breaking it.

A site organized by unit

  • One entry point per business: road infrastructure, energy, services, workwear, health and agribusiness.
  • Each unit tells its own story inside the same frame.

The group as a whole

  • Institutional sections covering history, values and reach.
  • Content managed by the group team, with no dependency on third parties for routine updates.

Architecture and technology

  • Self managed corporate site with a section per business unit.
  • Brand system documented in a style guide so it survives the people who wrote it.

The result

The group got one identity that six very different businesses can share.

Starting point

  • No shared identity across the six business units.
  • No corporate site presenting the group as a whole.

What was achieved

  • Brand identity with logo system, palette, typography and graphic language.
  • Style guide with rules for applying the system across units.
  • Corporate site with one section per business unit plus institutional content.
  • Content administered by the group team.

Strategic impact

  • A documented system is what keeps six units from drifting apart again.
  • The corporate site gives the group a single address, which is what a holding company needs to be read as one.
