Online store for Cultura Extrema: from a link hub to a sales channel of its own

Cultura Extrema had no website: its only digital presence was a link page pointing to social media and the shop. It now has a browsable catalog with a cart, explicit shipping terms and direct contact from each product record.

The challenge

Cultura Extrema sells apparel, footwear and accessories for sports and outdoor life, with a shop in Chascomus. Its brand worked on social media and its sales happened in store or over messages.

When your only digital presence is a link hub, every inquiry ends in a manual conversation and no sale can close on its own.

The starting point was not a site to improve but the absence of a site.

  • No browsable catalog: customers could not see what was available without asking, so the inquiry replaced the shop window.
  • No visible terms: shipping, returns and delivery coverage were explained one conversation at a time.
  • Unmeasurable sales: with no channel of its own there is no data on what gets looked at, abandoned or searched for.

The cost was one person's attention ceiling, and a brand growing on social media with nowhere to convert that interest.

The solution

We built the brand's first online store on PrestaShop, with the catalog structured the way its customers shop and the commercial terms in plain view.

The goal was not to digitize the shop but to give the brand a channel where the purchase closes without intermediation, without competing with the floor.

A catalog that mirrors the business

  • Three families, apparel, footwear and accessories, broken into subcategories by product type and use.
  • Among them protective and everyday accessories, bicycle, rollerblade and scooter gear, swimwear, bags and backpacks, and hydration equipment.
  • Featured products block to guide shoppers who do not arrive looking for something specific.

Buying without asking

  • Product records with add to cart and direct purchase, with a full cart and checkout process.
  • Commercial terms on the site itself: free shipping above a minimum, returns within thirty days and nationwide home delivery.

The digital channel reinforces the shop

  • Email alerts for back in stock notices and direct WhatsApp contact from the site.
  • Shop address and opening days in plain view, so the digital channel adds to floor sales.
  • Content positioned on the dual use angle, mountain and city, with seasonal communication driving the homepage.

Architecture and technology

  • PrestaShop with a catalog by family and subcategory, cart and checkout.
  • Email stock alerts and direct WhatsApp contact.

The result

The brand went from having nowhere to convert the interest it generated on social media to owning a measurable sales channel.

Starting point

  • No website: digital presence was a link hub pointing to WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook and the shop location.
  • Every inquiry ended in a manual conversation.
  • No data on what gets looked at or searched for.

Strategic impact

  • The browsable catalog replaces the inquiry as first contact with the offer.
  • Shipping and return terms stop being explained one conversation at a time.
  • The brand gains its own measurement of buying behavior, which did not exist before.
  • The digital channel reinforces floor sales instead of competing with them.
